A bit about Bree Wee

Triathlete Bree WeeA Florida surfer girl, college graduate, and the heart to travel; lead Bree Wee to the middle of the Pacific Ocean - the Big Island of Hawaii. There she would trade in her surf board for a bike and with some running shoes, she dove head first into triathlons, with a big goal in mind: the Hawaii Ironman!

In her 3rd full season of the sport, Bree Wee competed in her first Ironman.  With the support of her family, community, and her super coach Paul Regensburg, Bree Wee not only finished her first Ironman, Bree set the 25-29 age group Ironman record in 9hrs 47mins and broke Kate Major’s overall amateur Ironman record set in 2002!

2008 Season Goals:

  • Begin the season with a training camp in Australia, race Mooloolaba Triathlon
  • Compete in select Ford IM 70.3 series events
  • Qualify and race Ford Ironman World Championships (Hawaii) and Ford 70.3 Championships (Florida)
  • Continue to work towards becoming a World Champion
