I have competed in a few sprint triathlons and I'm curently training for the olympic distance. I'm considering the purchase of a tri bike and test rode one today. I'm having issues actually soft tissue issues with the seat and longer rides. Is it all about finding the right seat or are there other tricks. It is always a man working at the bike shop and I'm not sure how to tell him that it is not my butt that hurts. Any suggestions? I know this is sort of a not so talked about topic but getting into the tri bike position made me cringe a little and thinking there must be something that can be done about this.
